The Arab Council for Supporting Publishing Ethics and Scientific Integrity – “Nazaaha” – is a pioneering non-profit initiative dedicated to fostering a culture of scientific integrity and publishing ethics within the Arab academic environment. It stems from a deep conviction that scientific research is not only an intellectual pursuit, but also an ethical and societal responsibility.
This initiative is led by a distinguished group of specialists in higher education and scientific research, each with extensive academic and research expertise.
Nazaaha works to raise awareness and strengthen commitment to ethical standards in academic publishing and evaluation, targeting researchers, editors, and publishers to ensure sound scientific practices across all stages of knowledge production. It also contributes to Arab and international efforts to combat academic corruption, address plagiarism, and safeguard intellectual honesty by building an institutional culture rooted in transparency, fairness, and objectivity.
The Council operates on the principles of volunteerism and active participation by its experts, while maintaining full independence in decision-making and implementation—ensuring credibility, accuracy, and impartiality in all its practices.
